Description


The CPCI 1228 board provides simultaneous et isochronous acquisition of 16 analog differential inputs, and 32 TTL I/Os ( 2 x 16 bits). Each analog input has:

  • one instrumentation amplifier with software-programmable gain (1; 2; 5; 10)
  • (protection ± 40V)
  • one 16-bit ADC, max speed: 200Ksamples/s.
  • one 128-sample programmable digital filter

The CPCI 1228 takes advantage of the PXI concept for board-to-channel and rack-to-rack synchronization. Time-sampling is performed through an IRIG B input followed by a synchronized oscillator which ensures a 1-µs resolution.

The CPCI 1228 features:

  • one 2K-word measurement-descriptor table
  • one dual-access RAM in FLIP-FLOP mode, 2 x 256Kwords
  • 8 programmable interrupt sources with a debouncer.

The board can be used as Master or Slave on the CPCI / PXI to ensure high transmission rates in real-time environments.
